About Us
The Yakama Nation Economic Development Program is under the Yakama Nation Overall Economic Development Committee. This department is dedicated to serving our nation and our people with integrity. Our mission is to identify and recommend opportunities that create jobs and increase revenue for the Yakama Nation — building a sovereign and sustainable economy that stands the test of time. We are committed to making the process of doing business with us as accessible as possible, providing vendors, entrepreneurs, and partners with the essential information, documents, and forms they need to get started. Everything we do is guided by the preservation of our traditional and cultural values and the protection of the rights secured under the Treaty of 1855.
